Greetings, Kilowatt Club members and friends,
We want to take a moment to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with joy, good food, and the company of loved ones.
As we celebrate this season of gratitude, we also want to remind you about the upcoming club elections for the positions of Treasurer and Vice-President. This year, we’re introducing a new voting format to ensure every member—no matter where you’re located—has the opportunity to participate.
In the past, our elections were held in person just before the Christmas party, which unfortunately excluded many of our long-distance members. To address this, we are utilizing the HamClubOnline platform for this year’s voting process. Most of you are already members of HamClubOnline, and if you’re not, I’m happy to help you get set up. Here’s how it will work:
- Ballots will be sent to your registered email address on December 1st.
- Voting is quick and simple—just follow the instructions in the email.
- The election will remain open until the morning of the Christmas party, giving you six full days to cast your vote.
- Election results will be announced at the Christmas party and will also be available on HamClubOnline.
Please note that voting is completely anonymous. HamClubOnline will only show if you voted, not how you voted.
We understand this is a change from previous years and may feel unfamiliar at first. However, by embracing this new technology, we can ensure every voice in our club is heard, no matter the distance.
