Show up for the meeting in the basement of the Lamar Memorial Hall building at 1100 Broadway St, Lamar, MO 64759. Meetings are held on the first Saturday at 11am on the months of February, April, June, August, and October. Decembers are reserved for the club’s annual Christmas party. You don’t have to be a member. Just drop in and say hi!
Our experienced VE team would be happy to administer you an exam. All exams are given at 12pm noon on the first Saturday of every month except December. Go to the EVENTS page and see when the next exam is scheduled and whether it is a walk-in exam, or one that requires pre-registration for a Remote session. Pick a date that works for you. Obtain your FRN number from the FCC online. At this point you have options. If it is a PRE-REGISTRATION month you will need to go to HamStudy.org: Find an Exam Session and look for the date that works best for you. Click on the links and follow directions. If it is a walk-in date simply show up on time with $15, your ID, your FRN number, and a calculator if you need one.
