The Kilowatt Amateur Radio Club is proud to announce that our annual Wyatt Earp Special Event (W0E) will take place from Wednesday, October 2nd through Friday, October 4th, 2025.
This year, while we will not be setting up a physical station on site, all club members are encouraged to get on the air and make contacts using the W0E callsign.
Operating Details

Who can operate: Any K0KWC club member.

Bands & Modes: Any band or frequency, within your license privileges and legal limits.

Logging: Please use logging software that can export logs in ADIF format so we can consolidate for QSL confirmations and record keeping.

ADIF Submission: Email your ADIF file to Tim Ryder, N5STR, no later than seven (7) days after the event—by Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Get Involved
This is a fun way to represent our club and keep the tradition of the W0E Special Event alive. Even if you only have a short time to operate, every contact helps spread the word about our club and our connection to Wyatt Earp’s legacy in Lamar, Missouri.
