The Kilowatt Amateur Radio Club (K0KWC) is excited to announce its annual Winter Field Day Event! This year, the event will take place on Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the scenic Lamar City Park in Lamar, Missouri.
Winter Field Day is a fantastic opportunity for amateur radio enthusiasts of all skill levels to come together, test their communication capabilities in cold weather, and have a great time outdoors. Whether you’re a seasoned ham operator or just curious about the hobby, we invite you to join us for this exciting event.
Event Details:
When: Saturday, January 25, 2025, 10am local, through Sunday, January 26, 2025 4pm local
Where: 1909 Walnut St, Shelter house #1, Lamar City Park, Lamar, MO
Who: Everyone is welcome! Bring your friends, family, and fellow hams.

Hands-on amateur radio operations
