December 7th, at 12 noon, on the top floor of the Memorial Hall this time, in Lamar Missouri, gathered the Largest Little Club in all of Lamar,… The Kilowatt Amateur Radio Club (K0KWC) founded by Tim, N5STR, several years ago.
Eagerly awaited by many was the annual Christmas Party after the conclusion of business. Every year has proven to be better than the year before and 2024 was no exception. No faces, and new members, shared in the laughter and enjoyment of all.
The business meeting started with the club President announcing exciting new plans for the club in the upcoming year. The results of the election were presented by the Vice-President, Chris N0YH, which resulted in a new Treasurer being elected. Welcome aboard Caleb, KF0REF. The board looks forward to working with you. The club is looking to streamline and modernize finances to be more compatible with our 501(c)3 status.
The HAM OF THE YEAR was awarded to Steve, KF0MDE, for his exceptional efforts throughout 2024. Well done, Steve, our 3rd annual recipient of this most prestigious, and unique, award!!!
